Our Bread

Baked Fresh on the Premises

At Christopher’s, bread is at the heart of what we do. Every loaf is baked fresh on-site, using traditional techniques, quality ingredients, and slow fermentation to develop deep flavors and perfect textures. Whether you’re looking for a hearty sourdough, a classic baguette, or a soft, flavorful roll, we have something for every taste and occasion.

Our Bread Selection

We offer a carefully crafted range of artisan breads, available in different shapes and sizes to suit your needs:

  • Sourdough (Unseeded) – Naturally leavened and slow-fermented for a chewy texture and rich, tangy flavor. Available in loaf or tin shapes, in both small and large sizes.

  • Sourdough (Seeded) – A variation of our classic sourdough, packed with seeds for extra texture, flavor, and nutrition. Available in loaf or tin shapes, in both small and large sizes.

  • Vollkornbrot – A dense, wholesome, German-style wholegrain rye bread, packed with deep, nutty flavors.

  • National Loaf – A classic British wartime-style bread with a soft yet substantial texture, perfect for sandwiches or toast.

  • Mischbrot – A traditional mixed-flour German bread, offering a perfect balance of rye and wheat for a slightly tangy, hearty bite.

  • Baguettes – Golden-crusted, light, and airy, our baguettes are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, ideal for sandwiches or simply enjoyed with butter.

  • Brötchen – Traditional German bread rolls, available as round rolls or finger rolls, with a soft yet chewy crumb and a crisp crust.

  • Scotch Mist – A uniquely soft and slightly sweet bread roll, available in both round and finger roll shapes, perfect for serving with breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea.
